Alison Ludas

COUNSELLOR and PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Counselling is more than a profession to me - it is a calling. After decades of working in business and operations management, my life experiences and faith led me toward Christian counselling, where I now support individuals and couples seeking emotional wellbeing, resilience, and renewal.

My approach to counselling is integrative and tailored to each client. I draw on a range of evidence‑based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person‑centred therapy, trauma‑informed practice, and strengths‑based approaches. Sessions are collaborative and shaped around your goals, values, and personal circumstances, allowing therapy to unfold at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

I work with individuals and couples, supporting couples to develop deeper understanding, strengthen communication, and find renewed connection during times of strain, transition, or disconnection. I also support clients navigating grief and loss, offering a gentle and compassionate space to honour your experience, process change, and move forward in a way that feels meaningful to you.

For clients who wish, I offer the option of integrating faith into therapy. This may include exploring spiritual beliefs, values, and meaning as part of the therapeutic process. Faith‑based integration is always client‑led and optional, and counselling remains respectful and supportive regardless of your beliefs or background.

I believe counselling works best when it is human, relational, and grounded in genuine connection. Whether you are seeking individual support, couples counselling, support through loss, or space for personal or spiritual growth, I offer a steady and compassionate presence as we work together in a way that aligns with your needs.
